so glad you asked!
Recently, I was present to hear a conversation in the shop between two complete strangers. The conversation was ordinary and casual and there were not distinct high points or low points to speak of.
It was genuine. It was authentic. It was real. And I would like to share a bit of how it went.
A lovely lady visiting from Idaho had been in the shop for a few minutes walking around and taking her time looking at all the items. There were other ladies of a separate party in the shop as well doing the same. A slow and intent-ful walk around and taking it all in.
The lady from Idaho stops walking, drops her shoulders, tilted her head back and inhaled. Inhaled loudly as though she was taking in the aroma of a freshly blossomed lilac tree. And then she slowly exhaled and as she brought her head up and make eye contact with me, she thanked me for creating this space. Her eyes were red and I could tell her heart was guarding raw emotion just on the other side of her voice. Before I could respond in kind, one of the other ladies commented “Yes”! “I feel it too”!
And here is where the beauty of this story shines…
Neither of these women knew each other or myself. But with one woman’s brave unbridled transparency touching another woman’s spirit, I watched a new friendship form.
These ladies started conversing about how the “shop is so peaceful” and “it is just what I was looking for” ….
They sat down on chairs and held space for one another as each woman tearfully opened up. In silent moments there was no explanation needed as pain was released and carried back to Spirit. In moments of laughter, both joined in sync creating a melody that made me think of millennia of women supporting women.
One woman had just lost her father and the other woman was going through an ending to her 20+ year marriage. They asked each other thoughtful questions, and neither was in a rush to interrupt. The conversation did not last much longer than 20 minutes or so, but it felt like an eternity as I witnessed the healing of women and how we should support each other. It was a magic I knew instinctively was Feminine Divine, and familiar to me like the touch from my mother.
This spontaneous gathering of souls gave me hope that humanity is not lost from one another. I hope it gives you hope as well.
Be good to yourself and each other,
Seaora
